what does SUPPORT mean? Are they performinG or will they just be in attendence?
I seriously doubt Juice is going to come out all the way from Chicago, Canibus from New York, and Royce da 5'9 from Detroit and not perform. But I should call and ask. That would suck if they did not perform.

Yeah, the lineup looks really weak. I hate real rappers that actually put thought into their lyrics.

Seriously, the show was off the fuckin' hook. It started off with two local L.A. groups, I missed the first one. Then DJ Revolution was spinning, mixing, and scratching like a muthaphukka for about 30 minutes. Then Sway & King Tech took over.

Crooked I performed first. He came out with a ton of jewelry on. He only performed that new song "Boom Boom Clap". He said he was literally in the middle of a video shoot and snuck out to go to the bathroom and come over and perform real quick. I was disappointed because I wanted him to perform more.

Then Dilated Peoples came out and performed about 5 songs. Planet Asia also showed up and performed a solo song in the middle of Dilated Peoples set.

Then a rapper named Dirty Birdy performed about 3 songs. That fool was tight as fuck. He has a similar trash-talking metaphor style to Chino XL's. Then some break-dancers came out and just tore it up on the stage. Those guys were fuckin' amazing.

Then Chino XL came out and ripped shit up. He did about 5 songs, some new ones from his upcoming album and I think two old ones. Then Bun-B from U.G.K. showed up since he was out in L.A. and performed 3 songs.

Then MC Juice came out and started freestylin' like a muthaphukka. He performed a couple of songs and did some freestyles. Then Prince Paul from Organized Konfusion showed up and did a song.

Then Sly Boogy performed about 5 songs. He ripped shit up on stage. KAM performed next and did about 5 songs, including "Whoop Whoop" which had everyone going crazy. Self Scientific performed about 2-3 songs next.

Then RZA came out and everyone started going even crazier. He brought out some new artists on his label and LA the Darkman and I think Killarmy, too. There were about 15 rappers on stage with him, but none of them were any of the original 9 Wu-Tang members besides himself. I left after that because I have never really heard of Talib Kweli before and didn't really want to stay any longer.

Since there were so many rappers there, the order may be slightly mixed up and I may have forgotten someone, but I think for the most part it is pretty accurate. Canibus and Royce da 5'9 did not show up.

This was display of all of the artists that are featured on Sway & King Tech's new CD compilation, the "Back to Basics" album which is out in stores. For those that went, that shit was off the hook. For those that were skeptical and posting on this website all night, you missed out.

dude................. you must'a been living under a rock.
I've heard OF HIM, but I haven't heard HIS MUSIC. Or maybe I have and just don't know it. But I seriously couldn't stay anymore because I had been standing shoulder-to-shoulder for almost five hours straight and my legs and back were killing me. Damn, I hope I'm not getting old. But maybe I should have stayed.
