anyone gonna go watch this??? i thought it was gonna suck ass but i watched the trailer for it and it dont look too bad...... i might go check it out... from the trailer its got hella fuckin special effects n explosions n shit... its on wwe.com if u wanna watch it

Based on that trailer, I can't really see why WWE didn't have as much confidence in this film as they did with Kane's.

Then again, if this movie blows, wouldn't be the first time that a Trailer is better then the full movie. :angry:

They type casted it pretty well, Cena has that clean cut military look. Maybe they will drop the whole white rapper gimmick and give him a more soldier role. If they are giving him a movie, i doubt they will have him do a heel turn any time soon

You hit the nail on the head with the Heel bit, turning him heel would put alot of the Marks off of seeing it because they "Hate" Cena. Thus, taking money away from Vince's Pockets.

As for the gimmick change, not gonna happen. If they haven't dropped the gimmick by now, they likely won't.

Well he doesn't rap anymore thank god, I'm guessing he really acts like he does on TV in real life

I dunno though, you can be a heel and still be a succesful actor (a far as wrestlers as actors go). Look at Hogan when he was NWO or HHH (Blade 3 um yeah) They can always run with the old I'm a hollywood big shot heel roll

Hogan & Rock are different situations though. Both were even "over" when working Heel. They had the fans respect, Cena does not. Thus, WWE has to milk it any way they can, and that way is leaving him as a face so the "Marks" are still on his side.
