the Hooligans?

I read an article at www.mtv.com and it said that the Alchemist was part of a group called the Hooligans that was signed to Tommy Boy Records when he was 16. that group sounds familiar to me. did they ever drop an album?

They were called The Whooligans, they had 2 CDs I think, I remember they had a single from thier first CD that was cool, I dont know much else about them...
