i remember i was in mexico and i told the guy at the candy/liquor store i wanted some soda "yo quiero una soda porfavor" and he looked at me funny "soda......que chingados es soda.....alla en el norte le llaman soda pero aqui le dicen REFRESCO". i felt a little humiliated but i learned something new that day.
