Despite all the things he's said about them in the past, and vice versa, The Game recently pushed for a reunion with G-Unit and his arch enemy, 50 Cent, via a series of tweets.

In Twitter updates (@TheGame) posted on Saturday (November 13), Compton rapper Game hit up Fif' suggesting that he and Young Buck get on the phone to squash things and finally reunite the group that once had the hip-hop game in a choke hold.

"@50cent Aye n****, get on Twitter & let's get this sh** movin!!! G-G-G-G- well, you know the rest," the rapper tweeted. "All it take is 'ONE PHONE CALL'! U call me, I call BUCK, tell Banks holla at Yayo & dat puts HIP HOP @ OUR MERCY!"

When fans began to respond to him, asking if he was drunk or outta his mind, Game explained his position, saying he was "sober as f***," and even went so far as to admit, finally, that 50 wrote the hook on their 2005 hit "How We Do."

"I'm not drunk. IM SOBER AS F*** ... If it never happen, SO WHAT !!!" Game continued. "But let it b known I extended an olive branch. Call me bi-polar, call me a fake blood ... call my lyrics trash, I'll TAKE IT, It dont mean Sh**. If that's how u feel say it 'I LOVE IT'!!!"

50 never responded to Game's plea, at least not publicly, as of press time.

However, G-Unit member Lloyd Banks had some thoughts on a possible reunion with Game and Buck. Although, he addressed it indirectly. "50's first album led into the G-Unit album," Banks said, "which led into my album. Now it's time to pay 50 back. It's time for me to make it easy on him. Not go to 50 to make it easy on us."

As reported by TheBoomBox.com, Game tried to make amends before. Last year, during an interview with MTV in which he revealed his yet-to-be-released R.E.D. Album, he apologized to 50 Cent, G-Unit and Interscope for his involvement in the long-winded beef.

Of course, MTV followed up by asking 50 if he'd even consider it ... and he flat out said "no."

this is what happens when you bite the hand that feeds you and burn bridges. 50 cent got his ass kicked for being nice, now game is suffering and realizing he f'ed up. i dont remember game ever apologizing, he needs to apologize.

Game went with his homeboys to the radio station 50 was at to start some funk, put a G-Unot billboard in 50s neighborhood, vandalized his house, put out numerous diss songs and mixtapes about him, and called him a snitch in song, interviews and on video. He also worked with Ja Rule, the same guy who was part of the group that stabbed up 50 and put out all this snitch talk in the beginning.

50 Cent has a gangster mentality that Game doesn't. You can't let someone cross you like that, and be cool with them again, because that makes you weak.

I forgot though, what happened after 50 and Game squashed it publicly? Who started the beef back up, and why?

lol everybody forgets that part of the story thoe! no matter how you feel towards 50, if you got did the same way by one of your "boys" and now they tryna come back you would be the same way!

imagine, you been grinding for years tryna feed your family and get off the block, gettin shot and all that shit, and somehow get that once in a lifetime "good look" chance that most rappers want and holy shit, ur wildest dreams come true! Everything is good, then boom, here is one of your "friends" to shit on all those hard ass years of work you did, PLUS all the work you did for him. Puts signs up in your hood callin you hella weak and all tht. Basically tearing down all those years of brand building and long ass hours on the corner passing your CD out to mofos n all them raps you wrote and all the awards you ever won and ish. I wouldnt want anything to do with dude either!

All them fools let people get in they heads. "Oh, you should be making all the money, not 50!" "Ur the hottest of the group!" all that sideways shit that comes when you "make it" and unfortunately they (Game and Young Buck) listened and look what happened. If G-Unit was so bad, why is everybody tryna go back? I thought 50 was "jerkin cats for money" and "slaving" the artists. Looks to me like 50 gave all his artists million + sales numbers, stupid ass tour money, and way more fun than most of our 9-5s are, but 50 was a slavemaster right? niggas is hella stupid!

End of the day, if cats played they position, they would have been good. Now they see that shit and now they wanna come back. Game changed the way most of the public saw the Unit, and totally fucked the money up.

Everyone jumped on the I hate G-Unit movement and now look who has the center attention, all the Young Money faggots and the biggest fraud of them all who is not a good rapper just has good production Officer Ricky. Surprised Game hasnt hopped on there dicks to much. Game has to be the most unappreciative faggot ive seen.
