I didn't read the article but can sum it up, I am sure.

Get rid of A. Smith and the entire coaching staff. Start over, and by the time that new QB is ready, your studs now will be over the hill and you will be rebuilding for another 5 years. Ta ta.....

As if they won't draft or acquire any more studs in that span.

There's free agency and a draft every year.

They may, but not being able to field an adequete coach and or QB when you have a MLB like Willis really hurts. I hate to see young players with talent let it go to waste....
Willis is only 4 years into his career. He's got another 5-6 years of prime playing, and he could even go deep into his career as a top MLB like Ray Lewis did. Same with Vernon Davis. The only studs that will be past their primes in that span will be Frank Gore and Justin Smith. As good as Frank is, a good O-Line can help a pretty good RB get the same production (rushing). Frank only had that luxury once and has been doing everything on his own since. The current O-Line is finally starting to gel and has been playing very well.

as much as it sucks to say, Gores career is winding down....
doesnt feel like too long ago when he replaced garbage ass Barlow

but his body has taken a beating over his career, i just hope he recovers from the hip injury

we should resign westbrook, we got dixon, so let him develop a lil more

Gore has been plagued with injuries since his college days. He is on 27 right now so he might have some good games ahead of him but he will see production decline for sure. Sucks to think that he might not be able contribute to the 49ers one day.

at RB we got a vet, a rookie and a beast, would like to keep it that way for atleast a few years. These 3 will be a solid trio.

gore is comin up on 30

rb's that are 30 aren't highly sought after
that's stupid to say..

Westbrook still in 100% good shape and he still got it..

Niners need to resign him again...

Gore seems like he's pretty much done (hope not), but that hip injury might be the one for him to force him out to play football...

We all know our coaching staff has been terrible, hire a new coach and a whole new front office and shine..

The QB position needs to be filled by a QB that's ready to make plays happen, 5-6 years of the same shit? C'mon man!

Westbrook is in good shape because he hasn't seen much action this year. The other back you guys got will get alot of carries these next few games. Actually sitting Westbrook for so long was a good thing because he is strong right now. But can he take a beating every week is the question? At his age, and the mileage on him, I doubt it but we will see.

As for QB, you guys are in need of one bad. It doesn't matter where it comes from.
