Anyone know about the Funky aztecs???? Like who are they, where they from, when they cd come out and did they realley make a song with 2pac or is it some mix or some shit????????????????

I seen them perform at a college event like 12 years ago. They were ok. Im Latino so I kinda liked their shit but I can't remember how good it was. I don't know the dilly on the song with Pac though.

yeah they had a song with Pac called slippin into darkness, thats the only cut i ever liked from those guys, that beat was hella hard

the song with 2pac was called "Salsa con soul food" and was on their album Chicano Blues.... their next album had remix of the song "slippin into darkness (salsa con soul food rmx)"

i got "funky aztecs - the essential collection" from the old 40ouncerecords.com store..... $5 for a 2cd, its a re-release of day of the dead and addicted

These are my folkers! They were from VALLEJO mane! Merciless moved out to Texas and he's still doin' his thang! Sapo don't rap no more and I haven't heard anything of him in a minute and I'm not sure what happened to the rest of the crew! But they did it pretty big for a minute though! That shit was like in 94' mane! 106 played the shit outta them for a hot minute!!

If you from Vallejo or Latino at that you gotta know the Aztecs mane!

not sure of all the members.... Merciless is the only one on every song, other members seem to change from album to album

they are from Vallejo, the song with pac was released in 92.... their 99 release "addicted" features Jay Tee (of N2deep) & Baby Beesh
