C.S! Any tips you can give on real estate will be appreciated. More specifically...I got a record. How can I get in the game without this being an issue?

Oh for sho'! That's my specialty! Its called a schedule c, and I've been using it since '98, and also you need to go to office depot and get a mileage log, so you can keep track of your business miles. That's a good write off, and comes out way better than trying to write off gas (and you can't really do that anyway). @krishna the gw soundtrack is only available for download for $5 at www.myspace.com/csgrind . @doberman, you can still get your real estate license if you have a record,as long as its not a crime of moral terpitude, which inlcudes any type of theft, embezzlement etc. They let me get mine, but it took awhile after I passed my test because they had to investigate my crime first. Much love to everybody that said somethin positive, and like I said its good to see that they're some intelligent people on the siccness.

I'm here. I peep the siccness almost everyday, but it hasn't been nothin important enough for me to respond, even the thread about lil cs update. I don't care enough to trip off this shit. I really aint trippin on trying to succeed in the rap game, I'm more concerned about trying to succeed in the game of life, and I'm doin pretty good at it right now (peep my myspace and see what I'm sayin www.myspace.com/csgrind ). I'm not, and I haven't, and will not do anything to get locked up. That's an insult to me (I know you didn't mean it that way though). I have too many legal hustles goin on right now. I can't see myself makin another album, because niggaz don't want to hear what I have to talk about, because my whole album will be about business, like how to invest in real estate, index funds, mutual funds, stocks, ira's, how to start and run a business, accounting, finances, how to build your credit, taxes (oh yeah, I'm a certified tax preparer, and my wife and I have an income tax company, so if you want your taxes done get at me. We'll beat h&r block's prices, and se habla espanol). This is the shit that people that come from where I come from need to know and learn! All races, but young niggaz especially! I don't want to rap about that other bullshit no more, and I aint gon' promote no bangin shit, only gettin money legally. That's the page I'm on, and people don't want to hear that shit, so I'm cool! I do hope ANY Dago rapper blows up, especially the ones that have REALLY been trying. You deserve it. I tip my hat to ya'll. Good luck. Everybody needs it in this game nowadays. Shit, if I remember right tim c, you were really feelin that dollars and sins, but at the time it came out MOST people were, and I have to say that's the album that bought my house. And my catalogue is still sellin, especially dollars and sins. Tim c have you heard the mob kingz cd? I have 3 songs from it on my myspace. @tonguetwista, what's up homey. Keep supportin' that Dago shit!
You talking about making legal money and doing positive things made me think of this video. The youngsters who constantly watch the tv should take note to this one

i thought Dollars and Sins was/still is the tightest album to come out of Dago, period. And not only that, but i have mad respect for the Hustle youve put in, to get your business game up. As a business major graduate, im well versed in the aspects of running your own business. I am also headibng back to school next fall for my MBA. SO needless to say, I definitly respect anyone getting their business right, especially one where you came from hard time, and the streets, and still made it. Much respect CS

Some good advice up in this thread.

I took the Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Finance, & Property Management clasess at ECC and Mesa a few years ago, but never really did nothin with it. Do I need another class to take the real estate exam? And do you have to take the Exam in certain amount of time after you take the classes.

I like every Lil CS album I bought... it definitely fit the scenery at the time, let you know a lot about him, and I was going to San Diego State at the time so it was also good to hear a local artist.

He put his heart and time into that music and you can hear it when he's spitting!

Lil CS - I respect you doing your hustle and moving on to bigger and better.. the rap game is not as fun and is not making as much $$ anymore so 2 + 2= I'm out of it also LOL. I'm real happy for you and and your success and you helped me alot with my rap album (whether you knew it or not)

I'm doing Real Estate now and bought 3 houses myself (although most people I know in Real Estate don't make more than 10 cents- it's NOT easy). If you work hard and enjoy what you do you can make things happen and you're the perfect example of that

It's been great to see & hear him change alot over the years from being released from the feds to paving the way thru the local rap scene to making better wiser decisions by leaving the ghetto mentality and rap behind him and reaching into reel legal business!!! Like most say, when we grow older, we get wiser, and we mature cuz our lives is like a test and we gotta make decisions for ourselves; we gotta plan for better futures and keep accomplishing and succeeding and that's what I gotta do too......

CS has definitely set an example of this so I'm grateful to hear that from him cuz I can relate what he's sayin cuz he has a voice and we gotta hear more voices like that especially comin out of our black people from our communities and beyond so there ya have it peoples and keep stayin positive and dont let anyone take you down; keep stayin focused & motivated cuz that can only make you stronger......
