the discussions you we have in GOM, do you discuss them in real life as well?

you know, things like ET, god, atheism, all these political conspiracies etc etc...and the rest of these out there discussions about things.

for me thats a no, whenever i try bringing up similar subjects in person it seems ppl are disinterested in them, maybe it bores them, maybe they jsut dont care about ETs abductin folks, or the topics about, is there life after death, most times ppl just either say yes, no, or i dont know, and thats the end of it, you take it further and it falls on deaf ears...thats my experience though...thats why i like this board, all kinds of different shit to read and opine on that ppl in real life just dont feel like talking about unless theyre on drugs.

All the time. The only place I don't is at work. I learned from past experiences it's not a good idea to talk about politics/religion etc. with your co-workers. Especially with the christian-right

i do it all the time in class...the only thing i dont talk about is gun control, cuz people seem to be extremely opinionted and hard to open their minds to different opinions on that subject.

Naw, usually I just bring up oppsoing points most people on here talk about just to get people's blood boiling.

most people can't handle these kind of convos, so i usually steer clear of them. but if i find someone that won't be offended by my opinions, i'll chop it up with them. there's a lot more open minds online than in the neighborhood though...
