Not to take anything away from the L.A./Boston series, but I was just curious of what ya'll think.

because them mfkrs have been choking come May.

As strong as they are season in and out, 50 wins consistently, all their trips to the Eastern Conference Finals- and only the 2004 Championship in all the opportunity's.

Detroit is always a 'contender' but when it drops down to crunch time, they get sent packing.

Why is this?

I don't know myself.

Obviously people are pointing fingers at Flip Saunders, but with all the success he's had in the big picture, you wonder if Joe Dumars is going to overlook the dozen or so disappointing playoff games that mark the missed chances in the past 3 seasons.

There's talk of Sheed being let go.

There are 3 thoughts that sort of 'erk' me after watching this past playoff run for Detroit.

-Flip Saunders coaching isn't clutch? I dont know.

-Rasheed Wallace isn't consistent

-Antonio McDyess outscoring Tayshaun Prince in the Playoffs.

i think it has alot to do with coaching. the pistons has always but my back-up team but once they got flip i never went back to em and every year it shows to me why i never did. i think they need a good coach in there or even a decent one and they would be straight.

The Cavs last year definitely weren't a better team than The Pistons. Neither were the Heat in 05.

You can't get rid of Sheed because his value is low. Your not gonna get shit for him, or anything nearly as good as he is.

I'd try to trade Rip and Tayshaun for one great player. Move Stuckey to the 2 Guard spot and hopefully get a SF like Joe Johnson or something.
