i know ...niggas be SAYIN they gon show up to shows...but dont come through...(EVERYONE came to the last one tho!! even people from twitter!!) nonficktion met me in the parking lot and we blew a kushy one listenin to jacka...my dude synical was there...40ozchris..people i talk to on siccness or twitter but never met..it was all love...but i used to do that same shit...like 'imma go' but day of im like fuck it...my issue with shows was san diego had-has a reputation for fucking up its own limelight....but the thing about the rhythm lounge is its in point loma, so the crowd is more varied than say, the coca cola wherehouse on 47th at 3am. so you geta nice mix of people, whites, blacks, latinos/latinas, even some asians too....its not all one color or one gang that dominates...people be thinkin theres gonna be funk but trust me there never is. the doorman is cool as fuck, the owners is cool as fuck and the bartenders hook you the fuck up if you show love n tip. id advise everyone to come out and have fun. if im at it, esp if im hosting, its gon be tight....at the very less you gon get higher than smokey got in the car with them mexicans
the big picture is NO ONE wants to fuck up they own night. we tryna have fun. and now that we got a spot to do it, everyone needs to come out. cuz the shows are gonna get doper and doper. eventually im gonna try to get some big names down here myself, on my own bill.
we just need to get over thinking every show in san diego is gonna get shut down and end with someone getting shot....cuz it aint even like that anymore...truth is theres still a banging element out here but its not the early mid or late 90s anymore...its safe to come out lol
