It all depends.

Sometimes I BBQ up some pork ribs and some chicken breasts, legs and thighs. Throw a few good Bratwursts and/or Kielbasas on there. Good to go.

Other times I'm cool with some burgers (never frozen though,) hot wings and some hot dogs if I just wanna BBQ up something real quick.

More or less any type of sausge is animal left overs. I don't give a fuck as long as it tastes good.

If its a huge BBQ with over 50+ guests, then i'd go with the cheap shit. Ive had a bday bbq 5 years ago with over 100 people. We did it real big.

If its just 20 people id fuck with the premium shit.

i buy marinated tri-tips from this local butcher. some of the best shit, they got hella different flavors of marinade too. shit comes already in the air tight package marinated. they usually run like 20 bucks a tritip but they are worth it. fuck that cheap as meat from winco that shit is bammer as hell. safeway got good meat that ranchers reserve shit.

but i like hot links, ribs, burgers (from fresh ground beef not those mcdonalds tasting frozen patties). chicken, pork chops, etc. all the basic shit.

also like to bbq garlic bread and vegatables like corn or asperagus.
