i used to run my l7 12" with a 600 watt amp, shit slapped. but now i got 800 feeding it.

but u should check out some of the audiobahn subs... i only say that cuz my homie used to have only one 12 audiobahn and it was pretty fuckin loud and i think they go for way cheaper then they used to.

yeah ur probably right, now that u mention it maybe a audibauhn would work. but then again it also depends on what kinda amp he has mono, 2 channel, what brand all that is crucial.

stay away from audiobahn!!! take it from someone who had them for almost 10yrs. AW1200Qs. They hit hard and all but the sound was terrible. I also had the AW120XS when they were around and they had the tinsel lead frying problem. I finally decided to go with something else cause audiobahn just wasnt relieable enough to me. True the AW1200Qs did some damage but there is better shit out there for the same money.

idk ive never fucked wit audiobahns... its just they thump pretty hard and they cheap. theres a lot of different options for 1 12... i just dont kno how much money dude is tryna spend. i mean if u got the kindof money to spend on some fosgates or alpine maybe even jl then go ahead. but anything more expensive than that stuff is just not even worth it imo.

I just got some Cerwin Vega Vmax 12.4s. Havent installed them yet but I know they slap cause my homie has a pair hooked up to only a 600w RMS merlin hifonics amp and man they hit hard. Not as hard as i would like but only pushing 300RMS to each sub when they handle 600RMS a peace was pretty damn impressive to me. And as far as audiobahn you guys nailed it on the head. It does good for a while then will fuck up on you. I cant tell you how many times I had to have someone recone the sub. I will give it up to the 1200Qs though they lasted a long time and took some abuse.

What do you all think about the flip out Jensen touch screens that you can get for like 300-400? Are they decent quality. I have heard mixed reviews.

my boy had one, it was decent quality for the price, picture was kinda fuzzy but it was workable, there is better ones out there, i wouldnt get one, i'd rather mess with a double din 7 in LCD monitor

Someone help me on this. I have two 12s w6v2 with a 1000 watt amp and 450/4 a cap and a equalizer. Recently when i turn my volume up, the highs cuts off and sometimes the bass cuts off. When i turn it back down than it works fine.Anyone know why?

fosgates are decent but i dont really like em, alpine makez tha best cd playaz in my opinion ill never go w anything else im upgradin my 12'z to jl audio 12 w3 v3'z to run off a 500 rms mono jl audio amp

iz tha amp gettin hot? wut kinda amp? i remember that happend to me and then i checked tha fuse and it looked koo checked evrything still couldnt find shit then thought i might juzt check tha fuse again and it had no power replaced it and it worked fine it waz strange i think tha metal on tha fuse waz fucked up or sumthin
