If you get a chance, go see this flick. This is easily one of the best movies I have seen a long time, very entertaining. I was searching the internet for reviews and most of them are poor, but trust me, if you are a fan of those crazy-wierd "Event Horizon" type of movies, then you will love this one. You kind of have to be into those wierd sci-fi's though, because some people seem to dislike it. Dr. Curien how could you not like this movie mayn?

10/10 -- Best of the year so far.

Sometimes when I rent movies or go to the theatre I check the reviews first to help me choose a good film to watch, too often they are wrong leading me to watch subpar flicks. I really stopped listening to critics when I watched a televised show of Ebert & Roeper where they listed the top 10 worst films of the year, a list which included Bad Boys 2 (rated the worst film of the year by one of them), Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Cabin Fever, all of which are at least decent films. I have learned that the upper-classman that review these movies, and nominate them for awards are really more into shows like the pianist, chicago, shakespear in love, and those happy ending love stories. Many of the movies that win awards don't do much in the box office.

The Butterfly Effect is a great film.
