Driving home from the game today, we were listening to the post game show and I heard that Cincinnati has already announced that next weeks game against the niners is blacked out locally.

It's Mike Brown trying to scare people into buying tickets. It won't work after not trading Palmer and then letting Joseph walk. This city is tired of his bullshit.

I've been to Cincy twice. Their fans are pieces of shit. That 2005 season, everyone in the stands had a brand new jersey. Nobody owned one prior to that year.

^^raiders need to do some shit like that...
that would be dope, but come on now its tha raiders.. that'll never happen.. although it should be the same for every team in tha NFL.. not only certain teams..

theres been plenty of niner games where theres a bunch of empty seats yet companies purchase tha tickets to have it broadcast

I don't even think tha NFL would allow anything similar for tha raiders..
we tha red headed step child

Bet you 10 bucks you're not from Pittsburgh. Yeah sorry for fans being into a team so much that they buy a jersey of an up and coming QB(Palmer) and one of Cincy's best WR(ocho) guess we're not real fans if we dont have an Akili Smith jersey or any member of the lost decade.

How do you want to pay me? You want my address or do you just wanna do Paypal?

I'm just calling it how I see it. The entire stadium was filled for that wild card game, and every single person had a Palmer or a Johnson jersey. You come to our stadium, you're gonna see Harris, Bradshaw, Greene, Lloyd, Woodson, Bettis, Stewart, whatever. In Cincy, I saw two players' jerseys, all brand new. It was the most obvious bandwagon spectacle I'd ever seen. And the fans were obnoxious as hell both times I was there. Browns and Ravens fans might hate Steelers fans, but they're at least cool human beings. I remember the 2004 season (the year before they won the AFC North), I was trying to get Steelers season tickets. There's an 18 year waiting list in Pittsburgh. So I figured I'd look at getting Cincy season tickets, going for the Steeler game, and selling the other 7 games. There were like 15,000 tickets available. Those are some loyal fans.

Once again, hilarious, a stealer fan talking about bandwagon fans. Really? I'm not questioning your allegiance to your team, but to claim the bengals have a bunch of bandwagon fans is probably the closest thing to the pot calling the kettle black as you'll ever see in life.

Cincinnati has some pretty dedicated fans. The fact that they're still in cincinnati at all is telling. Stay up in pissburg where the bandwagon fan was born.

You're in a Bengals thread talking about the Steelers. You're like one of those gay dudes who tells everyone he's straight but he can't stop talking about dick.

I'm not saying Bengals dont have real fans. One of the games I went to, I went to with my buddy who is a cool dude and a Bengals fan. But many of those people were straight up disrespectful at the game and didn't seem to notice the difference between a friendly rivalry and just being seriously sad, bitter human beings.

And there's a HUGE difference between Bengals and Steelers fans - merchandise sales, blackouts, ticket sales, etc. To be honest, I've lived in Pittsburgh damn near 30 years and literally 99% of the people I'm friends with have been Steelers fans for life, their parents were Steelers fans, their parent's parents were Steelers fans, and so on. It's what we do here.

Now if you want to talk about Steelers fans who aren't from Pittsburgh, I 100% agree with you, but I don't know any of them besides Vamps and he doesn't fall into that category either.
