WHAT HAPPENS TO THE BLACKMAN ULTIMATELY AFFECTS US ALL.

“In almost every instance, the Black male is either first or last. First to drop out of school, last to get a job or become employed. First to get arrested, last to find a lawyer, first to die, last to see a doctor, first to be homeless, last to get a home.” Danny Davis

“There are approximately 16.7 million Black men and boys in the United States. Almost one in five has no high school diploma and, according to the Department of Justice, nearly one out of every three Black males born in 2001 will go to prison. In addition, there are 4.4 million Black males not in the labor force and just over 818,000 incarcerated in the United States.” James Wright

“We need to tell our children about our race. In Africa, we were kings and queens, while the whites were still in the caves of Europe, learning about fire. Our young Black men should be proud of who they are, but they do not know who they are because they are miseducated.” Minister Louis Farrakhan

“F*** a dream we tryin to live it, the slaves had dreams that allowed us to live them. Who needs to sell dope, be a part time pimp, a robber, or a credit card scammer. When you can do anything you put your mind to. I didn’t even graduate high school. But now I’m writing books for other people to learn from. So that should tell the next man he can do something for himself and not focus on the next man.” Rapper Jt The Bigga Figga

“The struggle continues but keep your head up and keep it movin. 2K3 is dead and gone. It’s time ya’ll, we are almost there, we getting money and everything. Let’s put it to good use. We are the leaders, the future. Let’s come together as a people and look out for ourselves as well as others. And that’s some real talk. God bless and knockout those tasks.” My thoughts

“Strictly to the top; Rhyme like a poet; Clock like a Rolex; Rumble young man; Rumble; Peace!” The Mac R.I.P.

“Choose Jesus because he is the way, the truth, and the light” Bible

Most of the quotes come from these websites The Afro American Newspapers, A Bay Area Rap message board, and the insert of the tape The Game Is Thick by The Mac.

I hope all those who are being quoted don’t feel upset with me for using their positive and powerful words, to help spread the message by way of the black letter.

I feel what u tryin to say. Im not black, but its fucked up how America hasnt changed a damn think. no progress. u knonw why? Cause we have "terrorism". that more important. Dats why we gotta take 100 billion+ to bomb the fuck out of innocent people. While the average black man struggles more and more to make a living in the beat up ghettos all over america. Here's to all the OGs and homies livin through that shit. my 8 cents.
