I had to make a thread about him.

Emmanuel Augustus is my favorite Journeyman fighter. His record is 35 wins, 28 losses and 6 draws. Apparently he is cousins with Kimbo Slice. This guy will literally dance for entire rounds and make up new fighting styles - sometimes he moves around like he's drunk, lol, he will even throw the double punch. He's fucking tight. He's actually a much better fighter than his record indicates and has fought some of the best - Floyd Mayweather actually struggled with him a bit and he's the only person I can remember that made Mayweather bleed. The reason he loses so much is because he'll fight anyone, anytime and also because he views himself as an entertainer first, fighter second. So he'll always try to make the crowd laugh, etc. Also, because of boxing politics he often gets robbed of decisions.

Here are a couple clips of him:

Tell me that isn't some of the tightest shit you ever seen in the ring!?!?!? LOL, this man deserves some type of belt!!

This is an even better clip (you need music to appreciate his style more):

yeah I was raised on his fights on ESPN2. I swear i moved out of the city just in time cuz back then u all know ESPN2 wasnt shown on cable tv back then. I got to see him fight many o nights. 1 of his most memorable fights and fight that turned out bad 4 him (as most do) was his fight against Mickey Ward. That shit was a damn good fight. I thought Burton (augustus) won but eh. I set up a lil fan appreciation page 4 him but it didnt really turn into much. If anyone DESERVES a major pay day its him. I wouldnt care if he got into the ring and got KO'd, if he can walk away with atleast a mil ill be happy 4 him!

i already knew who u were gonna talk about, atleast i hoped I did. I dont agree with the 'worst' part in the title. Burton is far from being in the worst boxer category.

Hell yeah! I don't know why he doesn't fight on major PPV events on the undercard. You want entertainment you get Augustus! Shit, I wouldn't mind having him as the main event

**Edit**

yeah I don't think he's the worst, I was really referring more to his record because you tell anyone he has 28 losses and they'll figure he must suck ass. but he certainly doesn't!

I gotta go with "Irish" Mickey Ward.....Ima bit biased, but he'd stand there and trade blows, using little to no tact...I've seen him take a HELL of a beating....but also put the smash on fools

GUESS who makes his ring return on AUGUST 31st?!?

EMANUEL AGUSTUS!

Sorokin-Augustus on August 31!
By Alexey Sukachev

World-rated junior welterweight Sergey Sorokin will face the toughest test in his career on August 31 in the Siberian city of Yugorsk, Russia, as he takes on American fighter/entertainer Emmanuel Augustus. The fight for Sorokin’s WBO Asia Pacific belt is scheduled to be the headliner of the fourth stage of the International Kostya Tszyu Cup. "I’m going to gather all the belts, Kostya once possessed," says WBO #6 Sorokin (25-1-1, 18 KOs), who is coming off the 10-bout undefeated streak to defend his title for the third time. He hasn’t lost since summer 2004 when he was handed his only loss as a pro against Juan Urango. Augustus (35-28-6 with 18 KOs) is still the die-hard opponent for any fighter around 140 lbs. despite his far-less-than-stellar record. Always fun to watch, he is an excellent choice for Russian fans, who will get a chance to see one of the most legendary journeymen alive. The show is promoted by Alexey Plotnikov with the help of Kostya Tszyu team.
