Yup. P explained in several magazines that he and his brothers lived with their grandparents in New Orleans during the school year, and that they would often go to Richmond during the summer, which is where their mother lived.
That's probably what P meant when he used to say, "I got two sides--I got a south side and a west side." And you could divide his career accordingly: 1993 up to early 1997 would be when he repped for the West, and mid-1997 to about early 1999 would be when he repped for the South.
