i dont see it. rappers in the bay should be releasing singles and putting out videos for the singles for the summer. all i have heard is that short is releasing a cd this summer. i know bullys wit fullys, federation and marv are releasing cds and i think are making videos for the songs. but where is everyone else.

wheres turf, frontline, fab, ya boy and whoever else.

summer time is the perfect time for a movement to blow up and i dont see anything really happening.

thats my 2 cents. dont like it i could care less

the hyphy movement consists of 6-15 people creating music but most of the hype and slang came and started from 1 person

b-legit said it on the hype on hyphy

whats funny is albums may have flopped on the record sales, but thats just 1 album. thousands of albums are garbage and flop. people shouldn't act like the bay area isn't going blow up because e40s mainstream record aint sellin in big numbers

its going to take a lot more than the hyphy movement to take back the game

your acting like the bay ever really had the game on lock in the first place. We do our thing and we are blowing up, you gotta give it a little time, you cant expect 3 singles to blow up every artist in the bay up. Its a process. It took Atlanta hella long to be where they are now where damn near every major rap artist is from ATL it seems. The bay is having its first real taste of commercial succes in like 10 or more years. this shit don't happen overnight

actually anyone in the bay area could blow up easy

but there is 100+ people with big egos that will keep hating on each other and trying to make more money than each other being greedy, independant ect ect

there is no way in hell e40 can bring the bay up by himself

he might be the ambassador but wheres the rest of the political party at?

I can dig it you know why? cuz it takes more than 1 or 2 rappers to make an area blow up. will 40 get more popular? only time will tell

HOW? let me know what your thinking. i'm just asking if anyone in the bay could blow "EASY" why havent they? its definately not because of haters and whoop whoop. its the same reason there is 100 rappers in new york and down south and everywhere that havent "blown" because the reality is rappers come a dime a dozen...nigga buy one get one free shit! when someone spits for me half the time i dont listen cuz everyone can either rap or thinks they can rap and it all comes down to who has the most money to put foward.

I agree ain't nobody gonna blow easily. But I think The Team (as a group or even Kaz and Clyde solo), Balance, and Bailey are pretty easily marketable . Meaning that with the right backing they could appeal to the masses. There are others, but I am drunk and tired.
