This happened on Tuesday and I just now came across the article. My apartment shares a parking lot with the bank:
Two men brandishing weapons held up a Kansas City bank late this morning.
The robbery occurred about 11 a.m. at the Country Club Bank branch at 44th Street and Belleview Avenue. There were no injuries and the robbers escaped with an undetermined amount of cash.
They were last seen heading south from the bank. No getaway vehicle description was available, according to the FBI.
One robber was described as a 6-foot tall black man wearing baggy clothes, a black hoodie and a gray ball cap. His face was covered with a blue bandanna. He was armed with a long gun and carried a black gym bag.
The second suspect was a black man about 5-foot-11, about 180 pounds and in his mid to late 20s. He had a tight black mask covering the lower part of his face.
