I'm starting this thread for the homeboys like myself that have a home studio or flows, and are going to be recording some songs. Any advice, resources, equipment recomendations, or future Norte compilation cd's that will need new voices and talent? I'm new to this site and I see that alot of homeboys on here have cd's out, and I thought that this would be an interesting and helpfull thread.

My equipment isn't the best, but you have to make the best of what you got...

MC-303 Groovebox
Dr. Groove 202
Digitech Vocal 300
VS-840 GX Digital 8-Track
Sure Microphone w/ popper stopper

My 8-Track only records to zip-disks and doesnt have SCSI to hook up an aftermarket burner. I could probably use my homeboys computer to input the data since my computer at home is ancient. I can Record, no problem. But I havent succesfully transfered to cd. But then again, I havent been putting to much time into it lately. What part of Sacra are you from? I'll post some beats here Rose Town Ryda hopefully soon. I just stumbled across this site while looking for HomeboyzRap to buy Funk On Sight 2, and now that I know that a site like this exsists, I'm going to put a whole lot more effort into my beats now. Corn Bread, how does your homey flow? Fast or slow?
