thankful for thanksgiving

I'm thankful for my family, my fiance, my unborn son, my soon-to-be in-laws, my health, my education, and the opportunities I've had so far in this life.

I will be celebrating with a house full of Salvadorians this year....it's about to go DOWN this Thanksgiving. I hope this cold is gone before Thursday, though.

Not really. We are slow as fuck on Thanksgiving. Thus the reason I work 16 hours that day making time and a half plus overtime and just more or less sit in the office on the internet all day eating lumpias and the such that my staff brings in for the potluck.

it doesnt feel the same since moms been gone...but hey im thankful for thanksgiving...i see alot of people going through hard times right now...its crazy..joey porter was here in bakersfield well his hometown..dude handed out like 2000 turkey baskets donated by him...

I feel it cuz holidays is wierd after you lost a parent.

On another note Im thankful My mom RIP aint in pain no more, I dont gotta worry about my pops bein a junky cuz he locced up (Is that wierd to be thankful for?), Im thankful I have a place to lay my head, The little bit of family I got left even tho they aint blood related, My homies that stand by my side, the opportunity I got to get an education, and shit just plain bein alive...

I'm thankful for a job that got me moved over to a strange ass country. A bunch of friends (Americans and Germans) always get together for a big turkey and ham dinner on TG. Should be about 20 or 30 this year. It's not the same as being with the family, but it's the next best thing.

always spent my thanksgiving with my dad, and he just past away in august, so its gonna be different but still going and spending it with my step mom and little brothers... have to be there for them..

last year thanksgiving was the first one without my dad and it was tuff. it was impossible being strong after seeing my family break down. hopefully this thanksgiving will go better for my family. My fav dad thanksgiving moment is that he always requested a turkey leg every year. In honor of my dad i eat the turkey leg that he always love.

Its what the holiday is pbased on that makes me sick and im sorry, but I just cant "be thankful" knowing people suffered to the point of near EXTINCTION for my "health". I give thanks every DAY of my life....not on one day of the year.

But i love food. So it gets a slight pass.

Is it just me, or is there always at least one person who is going to be angry that you didn't see them on Thanksgiving, even if you have 400 other houses to go to. It seems like every year, I'm running around like a chicken w its head cut off trying to please everyone when all I want to do is sit down with my wife and my friends and have a fucking beer.

I'm glad that I established the fact that I don't necessarily like you just because you're somehow related to me early on in my life. My friends are all the family I need aside from my immediate family.

Hope all you guys have a good time. If you got nothin' to do and wanna come down to NY there's always an extra chair for siccness members. Well... Some of them.
