She wasn’t responding to shit SLOWPOKE, her cerebral cortex was liquefied, and she was brain dead. Unless you’re a doctor or you’ve known people in a vegetated state (as I have) then I don’t think you’re qualified to determine she was consciously responding to people or remembering her childhood.

My homeboy was in a similar state for 5 years before he died and his eyes would move, his head would move from side to side etc. but those are all typical movements when in a vegitated state. Simply instinctive, nothing conscious.

Yea. Terri was about as responsive as a carrot, thus the "vegetative state" title. When your cortex is liquid, you can't respond to anything. You can't speak, can't think, can't feel anything, can't be happy or sad, have no idea who or what is in front of you, and you are even unaware of your own existence. She basically lived the life of a rose bush.
