Entertainment Tonight will premiere a new trailer for Terminator Salvation next Tuesday December 9th. But right now you can watch a preview of some of that footage below. I have to admit, the shot of the giant Terminator at the end of the video (screenshot above) is pretty damn awesome.

The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Terminator Salvation Movie Trailer #2

Earlier today a Japanese trailer leaked for Terminator Salvation. Well now Warner Brothers
has released the Official second domestic trailer for the film, and its an extremely different cut. We get a better look at the Moto-Terminator and the gigantic transformer-like Harvester. Even the detractors need to give McG some credit, this film is looking better and better. Watch the trailer in High Definition on Apple or embedded below.

It looks good but it seems like they are trying to tie into The Matrix franchise a bit. I've seen some robot pics from the movie and they have some squid looking type robots.

they should have made a full out war movie, robots vs john conors teams and then went from there. i will watch it but i know im going to be pissed afterwards, just like i was with T3

It doesn't look anything like T3. It looks to mix substance with high volume action sequences, ala T2.

You really should watch the Sarah Connor Chronicles on Fox since they're building up to the movie....

The whole concept of time is completely thrown off especially when the time line is being rewritten with all these terminators being sent back

Yeah, T3 was no good. The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the only show I watch right now.

I'm hoping Salvation is good. As long as they don't reference anything from T3.

This movie was made to overlook T3 completely. It might reference it in the slightest of ways, but think of that in the same capacity that The Incredible Hulk referenced HULK and pushed it out of the way for its own plot.

exactly.. i could watch shit like terminator over and over. Kinda like Predator and Alien movies. Even tho they're shitty as fuck now. I can still watch over again. They're just classic characters.
