I was gonna make a thread about this a couple days ago.

So at first, I thought this was a great idea.. But I had no idea they would take it THIS far. I mean Jesus H. Christ, last game, Marion raised an eyebrow at a ref (after the the ref totally botched a call) and he T'd him up. A RAISED EYEBROW?! You cant even THINK ill of the goddamn refs without them giving you a T. Shit's ridiculous.
Thing is, the quality of officiating hasnt improved one bit from what Ive seen.. and now they're handing out T's like Snickers on Halloween.
I think if they're gonna give the refs this unrealisitic power to T up a player, they should raise the standards as to how the game is officiated. AT LEAST BE CONSISTENT, SHIT!
I dont got a problem with the refs that have been doin it for a while like Joey Crawford, Dick Bavetta, Gary Zilinksi, Benet Salvadore, etc.. They actually know what they're doing.
But the other guys... Fuckin A

Some of the ejections have been absolutely bullshit...i didnt expect any better officiating this year anyway, its always the same = better players get the calls..but it is hard to officiate i guess...enough for me not to go crazy

Yeah.. its 2006 though. Why rely on dumbfucks?
There should be a panel of "refs" viewing the game through cameras from all different angles in a little room. When a call is to be made, they can make it.. Just not in person with their little whistle. It may be delayed method of officiating, but not by much. Maybe a half second. And it would be 100000 times more accurate.

I dont understand why only a buzzer-beater shot can be reviewed. A foul, a travel, an out-of-bounds call can be just as instrumental to the game as a buzzer-beater. All should be able to be reviewed IMO.

Or maybe implement a challenge system like in the NFL, so we're not reviewing every play but some of the more important ones.
