thought i'd let everyone know that the Tech concert in Maryville at Northwest Missouri STate University was ill as hell.
I got their later so I didn't have to hear all of the opening acts. I still had to sit for about an hour through some opening acts. One guy wasn't bad, the other two groups were blah. I'm told that wasn't the worst of it...a friend told me that one of the guys that went on before I got there got booed off stage lol
Anyway, Tech came on and just ripped shit. He did about 10 or 11 songs most of them from Absolute Power and probably the four most popular from Anghellic (It's Alive, PR2k1, This Ring, and Einstien). He did the songs from AP that were most likely to get the crowd hype...which sucks because that means they did Here Comes Tecca Nina and Biancas and Biatrices. i just can't bring find it in me to enjoy these songs. it would have been MUCH better if he had done the full version of Absolute Power (the song) instead of just an acapella version of the second verse. everything else was tight though.
i've got some pictures coming that i'll post for everyone when i get them developed. they might not be the greatest (because we came late we were sitting toward the back) but I'll post the best ones.
We went to the Outback (a bar) afterward and about 30 minutes later Tech ended up showing up there. We left pretty soon after though, cuz we had already made plans. He ended up having an after party above another bar in town after it closed but I didn't go to it either. oh well
life goes on. a friend of mine did get an autograph for me though!
