september 10th, tech rolled into springfield's Jordan Creek and he let his presence be known. But before we get into that, let's recap the openers.

Vertigo: the first time i saw vertigo, when tech came to springfield in february i think it was, i was not feeling their performance at all. They didn't seem in sync with the music and their performance, i thought, brought no energy. After seeing vertigo for the second time, i take all that back. It is obvious that after going on tour and doing countless shows with tech, they have grown as a group and as performers. They probably borught the most energy of all the openers.

BG Bulletwound: The beginning of BGs set was a little shaky. the crowd didn't really seem into him at first (but how could they? most of them were 15 or 16 at this all ages show. they wouldn't know real hip hop if it was there right in front of them. they are growing up on such artists as eminem and 50 cent and ja rule instead of the real hip hoppers of the past, but that is another story). After a shaky first song, BG got the crowd hyped and put on a nice set.

S&S: Probably my least favorite of the openers both times i saw them. they bring energy and are talented, i just don't feel their live performances that much. They did manage to get the crowd really hyped for the main performer:

tech n9ne: tech put on another great show, with a couple of surprises since the last show. these two surprises were imma tell(his current single) and slacker, which he did not perform last time he was in springfield. The only disappointing thing about this show was he didn't perform who you came to see, one of my favorite songs to see live. He, of course, performed this ring, and did it very well. he got some of the sorority hoes from sms on stage for planet rock (probably the same hoes he rapped about in psycho bitch) i also feel that tech is getting better and better with each performance.

it was, all in all, a good show. the only disappointments were:
all ages show, too many 15 year old wanna-be gangstas and hoes.
hobotone didn't perform, and has yet to do so in springfield
a few glitches with the sound system.
but other than that, it was great.
