Most rappers record in pieces...and paste it together....thats just the best way...remember, you aren't trying to amaze anyone with endurance or stamina in the studio...just trying to make it as clean as possible.

You know how on some songs he spits normal, fast, normal, fast, normal, and so on? It seems like that's "cut" and "paste" 'cause on the Absolute Power DVD, they show him recording "I'ma Tell" and he did a slow part, paused... slow part again, paused. Then he did the fast part, paused... fast part, paused, and so on.

it all depends on how the song goes... like with imma tell..you are gonna want that to seem continous, without him pausin for breath...makin it as clean as possible cause it sounds better clean...

most don't just go and spit cause they don't have to anymore...thats true for anyone...it makes the album sound a lot more clean as heat said above, more of a finished product...

(ummm...i think i pretty much reiterated myself in the second part of this...oh well...but its true...)

y'know when I saw that I wondered how he would do it live. Will he just practice his breath control for that song to be able to do the slow & fast parts in succession, or will Kutt or someone else on stage do the slow parts and he do the fast parts? (maybe he's already done it live and someone knows the answer to this...)

When he is performing, it is easier to spit the songs cause you dont have to say every word. You can pause or look around and then spit some more... I dont think that he'll have to worry about running out of breath or anything.. It's just easier to perform it...
