Is there any point when you have games like Call of Duty and (soon) KILLZONE 2 out there? I haven't played TF2 - it just looks like a no good game though.

I'm playing TF2 now to get better so I can go back to playing counter strike.

Anyone know what is best? CS, source, condition zero???

just stick to playing CS or Source

condition zero fucks with your figures in regular CS .. and if u ever go on CAL .. and dont fix that.. you can get banned ..

i play regular CS because i think its much better .. and only play Source once a blue moon ..

Honestly I don't really know if playing tf2 will make you better at cs, being able to jump around without any slow down and unless you're playing sniper the damage boxes are pretty big (rockets, pipe bombs) so being accurate isn't always needed...

Worked for me back in the day with the OG Team Fortress and CS. It sucks trying to learn to play CS and getting owned all the time because you have to wait so long for re-spawn. With TF you can keep more continual play and up your skills.

I know what you mean though.

But for me it is about getting back into the swing of the controls and movement, etc. I'll be happy once people can't jump around with ease and lob shit all over the place.

There are servers that are non stop with respawning in CS usually with a shit load of people though. That's how I started getting better.

I used to like the one where there were two sides close to eachother and there was a whole line of weapons (one of everything) and you just go apeshit on eachother. Re-spawn on those was always fast.
