it's off the fuckin hook. the beats are mobbin and tay is ripping the mic apart.
i love that 'frisco legends 2k3' track.
Real talk. Taydatay has kept his lyrical style basically intact, but updated the production in a way that makes him sound like a brand-new artist without compromising him. And not too many older artists are able to do that without sounding awkward.

Tay's flows are as solid as ever, and some of the features work better than I thought they would (Riderlife, for one), but I'd buy the CD just to hear some of the spacious production from DJ Mark 7, a rejuvenated Big Hollis (who's stopped using the farting ice cream truck beats that marred WWW.LUNICOLEONE.COM) and GLS! They really put in work on several tracks! If you love Frisco Rap, get this.

PEACE!

Its better than Anticipation
Yup. ANTICIPAYTION was okay, but I don't know--for some reason, that CD seems to "drag" a little too much for me. The production and songs (especially those that Tay carried himself) got a little samey. Cnsidering the drama that 11/5 was going through with Dogday at the time, though,I'm not surprised...

But yeah, OUT OF SIGHT, ON THE GRIND is put together well, and it does what a lot of Bay fans could hope for: it keeps Tay's basic style intact, as well as also updating it for the new millenium (but not in such a way that Tay sounds "compromised" for commerciality--he's not).

PEACE!
