They need to quit with this "we are the best defense of all time" bullshit......I mean I give them props for what they did, they played a hell of a game and no I am not a Raiders fan either

Tampa Bay has a great defense but when they claim they are the best of all time just because they held the Raiders to not that many yards....that is fuckin ridicoulous....the fuckin Chiefs, yes the Chiefs the worst defense in the NFL held the Raiders to 10 points, big fuckin deal....Tampa Bay is outta line with this best defense of all time bullshit

I gotta argue Cutty, if its longevity that makes a d good then they cant touch the steel curtian till they win a few more championships.........I still think the bears of 85 is the best I have ever seen, tampa is very good but not quit at that level in my eyes

Dont hate grim, Tampa Bay is the 2nd greatest defense of alltime, behind the 85 Bears!! So what theya re claimin aint far-fetched!! The Haiderz got handled like bitches and the so-called MVP choked bigtime!! Gannon aint shit!! Tampa smashed like I said!! GOT EM!!

Baltimore's D from 2000 is better Tampas D this year no doubt.

Balti 2000 - 165 points allowed
Tampa 02'- 196 points allowed

Balti 2000 - 2.69 yards per rush
Tampa 02' - 3.8 yards per rush

Plus the Ravens had a noticeably worse offense than Tampa and basically relied on their defense to win every game......Tampa got a very good D but not the greatest or even second.

I agree. The Bucs need to stop with all of this. The best D that I've seen was the Ravens of 2000!!

Like I said Tampa Bay is the 2nd greatest defense of alltime, fuck wht yo numbers say, thats what happened to these haiderz fans goin by numbers thinkin they gonna win the superbowl. I watched them both play and this Bucs team is better, but I do agree that the Ravens has the 3rd best D!!! And yall can hate on the Bucs but they are the champs, and alot of folks agree about their D baby!!! GOT EM!!!

the ravens didnt give up a td in the superbowl becuz they was playin the giants. the raiders are high powered atleast, the giants aint have no kinda offense

Tampa's D, is not better than Baltimores...not by a long shot...

I'm hella happy Tampa won though, I don't mind the Raiders so much as I hate Raider fans...love to see them suffer...

A top defense will always beat a top offense...

Exactly t-dubb about the comparison between the Giants & Haiderz!! And poorbred, when I say whic defenses are the best, I compare them to 1 season! I think that this Tampa Bay defense for 1 season is the 2nd best defense ever!! We can have different opinions, but thats mine and aint no changing it. Everyone knows the 85 Bears is the best, but they were only tight for 1 year also, so thats how I was comparin mane!! The best defenses over a period of seasons would be the Steel Curtain & the Purple People Eaters!! Anyone know about those defenses?? GOT EM!!!

dont compare numbers between ravens and bucs from 2 different seasons.

offense was up all across the board this year plus tampa was without boogie mcfarland for most of the year.

that would of cut down that yards per rush for sure.

i think its a waste of breath trying to compare all time greats and shit like that.

everyone has their own opinions. either way....the arguement is being made so the bucs are doin somethin right
