That Hollow Tip album is widely regarded as a classic. I'm not very knowledgeable on the Sac rap scene, so I'm curious. How much of an impact did that album have? Were many other rappers biting it afterward?

Being from Highlands the impact was huge. Every other car in NH had that shit blasting for like six months atleast. Ridin' is still like the national anthem of Highlands to me and always will be.

HOLLOW TIP - NO MORE BRAINS
SLIPPIN IS THE WAY OF MARKS, SO THEY PISTOL WHIPPED IN THE DARK, LOCKEM IN THE TRUNK FOR THE BARK, SLAP THE OLDSCHOOL OUT OF PARK.

MAN THIS ALBUM IS LEGENDARY. I LIVE IN SEATTLE AND WHEN THIS ALBUM CAME OUT THE REAL CATS THAT KNEW ABOUT REAL MUSIC WERE SLAPPIN THE FUCK OUT OF IT. THOSE WERE GREAT TIMES. HOLLOW'S LYRICS AND WORDPLAY ARE ALWAYS ON POINT. REAL WESTCOAST MUSIC PIMP.
