As with B-Legit's HARD 2 B-LEGIT and San Quinn's THE MIGHTY QUINN, it's a case where basically, if Yuk had to go mainstream, at least he did it in the best way he could, IMHO.

My point exactly. I wasn't trying to diss those CDs, I was just using them as examples of records where more mainstream-sounding beats don't always HAVE to be bad. Quinn used it to his advantage, as did B-Legit (on his last one) and as Yukmouth does on GODZILLA as well.
