T-Mac to Detroit?

Trade rumors about T-mac coming to Detroit.


In all honesty the guy just told Steven A. Smith that he'd be more than willing to go to Detroit for a chance to be on a 'contending' team (i.e.- get out of the first round for once in his career)

as always the Pistons downplayed any major details about what was suggested in their contacting Houston about a possible McGrady trade.

I will say though, if Houston and Detroit do make a trade for this man, I'd also like...



Chris Kaman from the Clippers. If you're gonna get T-mac then I'd like to see Kaman at my 5 position, instead of Sheed who just likes to rape the mid/low post turn and fade thats either on or off on any given night.


*EDIT: after thinking of the trade options, I sort of like the idea of keeping my Pistons as they are.

Yahh.....the Pistons really should do something.....but who do u trade and what are u actually getting back?? The only untouchable(s) on their roster should be Prince,Stuckey,Maxiell....they have some good younger players....I don't really see the need for Rip Hamilton or Sheed....Billups should stay just because he's Mr.Big Shot...but it should be interesting...I can't imagine Mcgrady on the Pistons, but it'd be cool I guess

I feel you on that. The guy doesn't collapse during playoff season, but coming as far as we have been the past 6 seasons with the squad we have seems like a better chance than making a trade which would likely send Rip to Houston.

They wont' get the whole backcourt for T-mac.. c'mon... T-Mac doesn't have much value. He's injury prone like a motherfucker. If he wants out, he's gonna be shopped out and they won't get a lot for him.
