Terrell Davis is one of my favorite football players of all time.I remember the Bowl when he had a blinding migrane and came back on the field with some savage play.Or the season he plowed over every team in his path for 2008 yards.Super Bowl MVP,season MVP,back to back champ,without him my Broncos would have never won shit with John.To see Terrell the Mile High soldier go through a grip of injuries over the last 3 seasons since the torn acl and try and play with them but to no avail is shitty.At age 29 he might be forced to retire.I say might because Terrell has always been underestimated.He was a 5th round draft choice and before that a backup to Garrison Hearst at GA.In 95 he came into NFL without a name,over the next 5 seasons he earned his rep.I cant help but pull for this man.I hope he comes back,but should he retire he is a HOF.Its shitty to see a great player like him have to retire because his body makes him.

You wonder why shit happens like that...No doubt about it Davis has extreme talent with a vicious work ethic and seems like a good person...And he has to endure these injurys...Doesnt seem right...

Emmit aint it had that ruff!!!!! Walter Payton had it ruff, it was him against the nfl untill about the last 3 years of his career.
Emmit had probally the best offensive line I have ever seen, an a great qb an a great wr to share the load. Payton was made to sit out 1 game as a rookie against his will, an that was the only game he missed his entire career......no simpathy for Emmit here, FUCK emmit smith!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. . .FUK EMMIT SMITH! I always thought he was way over rated. As far as T.D. I hate to say it but I think he's over with. I think the Broncos knew it to that's why they drafted Portis. So i'm not really trippin we still have Olandis Gary and Clinton Portis. I think they can pik up T.D.'s slak. Shit they've been doin the past 3 years. And yeah Greise is fallin off. I don't have much more faith in Burlien though. But we shall see hopefully Greise will get shit crakin. Oh also just to clear things up T.D. was drafted in the 6th round not 5th. . .

man you can think of a 1000 senarios with running back on different teams like that. but Payton played on some of the shittiest teams in bears history. an you cant say what ya said about Barry, I have watched HELLA games he playin in an never ONCE did I ever see him get hit. that was what was special about Barry, he didnt get hit, you could tackle him but you couldnt hit him for shit.

What makes Gale Sayers different from Terrell? 2 Super Bowl rings and 2008 yards one season.Hes a sure shot HOF'er.Even Sweetness could not get 2000.Nor Emmitt,nor Franco.Nor anybody other than Barry,O.J.,Dickerson and T.D. ever. Not to mention league MVP,Bowl MVP.All this in his first 5 seasons.That has never been done.Terrell is Canton bound.
