A rare find. The associate Tay (standing) is crafty with the mouthpiece. Too bad the production wasn't up to par. Demond's Cad was too flipped...RIP.

I still spin my old cassettes containing old Legitimate Grind (Soc & Creep) material too...classic Bay Area underground. I would've thought "SouthBay Mouthplay" would've also received more attention than what it did.

The Cad was originally owned by the oldest brother Steve. He was murdered (over that car if memory serves correctly) out in Oakland & then Demond got the car. He fell victim to murder as well during his younger brother's graduation party in Milpitas & then the car was given to David aka Dayday whom eventually sold it.

I only knew of Dyno a long time ago but he was older so it wasn't like we were folks. I've known Fred for many moons...since he lived in Casa Grande off Kennedy...him & Nikki & I forget the other sister's name...Nina?

I haven't the slightest clue about Ed & his whereabouts.

"SouthBay Mouthplay" was an underground compilation of 408 (mainly Milpitas) artists that Ed (& a few of his associates) put out. I don't think it even ended up being put in stores.
