lets go.
if you rap, dj, and/or produce you should be there.
why?
for one, not many cali heads make it out so your presence will be felt by everyone out there.
two, ultra networking.. every label, artist, group etc is out there from every genre, from every country. you can even end up performing.
three, its hella fun.3 streets full of live venues, nonstop shows.
(bring medicinal, thats your ticket innnn)
ridiculous lineups (westside connection, beastie boys, wu tang, every fuckin rapper from houston and florida and louisiana, etc.)

just wanted to let my SD heads know about it..i know its far fetched for some to travel for some music shit like this but fuck it you only live once!

gas one lets gooo

I went to this last year when I was living in Austin. Got some free passes. I saw Strong Arm Steady perform and said "What's up?" to Mitchy Slick afterwards. The XXL Gunz Vol. 4 had just come out and I was trying to buy a copy from him, but he didn't have any on him.

On another night, in the same week, I saw Ska-Face Al Kapone perform, Balance perform, and Mistah F.A.B. perform. They all were opening for Rick Ross. I left after Mistah F.A.B. because I don't like Rick Ross' music.

I missed an Eightball & M.J.G. performance. It was at another location on the same night as the Strong Arm Steady performance and since the line-ups for the Strong Arm Steady were all running late, I couldn't make it over to the Eightball and M.J.G. performance.

It's definitely worth going if you can make it there. I even saw Ong-Bak 2 long before it even made it select theaters in the U.S. Speaking of which, that comes out on DVD today.
