The group has also announced a US tour in support of their new album, “Armed To The Teeth”, alongside Big B, Common Market and Bliss N Eso.
“We’re excited to hit the road and share these songs with fans,” says Madchild. “It’s been a long time since we’ve done a headlining US tour and now we can finally play a full Swollen Members set for fans .”
Swollen Members are currently gearing up for the release of their new studio album “Armed To The Teeth” which lands in stores October 13th, 2009 through Suburban Noize Records and Battle Axe Records. The album is a snapshot of the trials and tribulations the group endured during the past two years, including Mad Child’s battle with drug addiction, the collapse of their former record label and the legal troubles that plagued the group throughout the recording process. The album features guest appearances by La Coka Nostra, Talib Kweli, and Tech N9NE.
