We are approaching the season where some humans react like a weak minded animal. The season, where little boys posing as men reveal how punkish they are with their male PMS (Petite Man Syndrome) . Yeah, people go to jail year round, but this time of year it seems like lops are really wanting to be locked up because they are looking for a fight when the heat "makes" them snap.

Anyone else observe this same trend every year?

And does anyone live somewhere where it actually stays cool in summer?

Isn't that considered Napoleon Syndrome? And yes the smallest guys always wanna start shit for some reason which makes me laugh. I think it has to do with the mix of booze and 100+ degree weather here in Chico. It's pretty entertaining to watch tho

yeah it cracks off for sure. but if your not very friendly like me. you pretty much hang around with the same crew and go to the same spots. bars get hella people, house parties are where the fights break out. someone always got something to prove.

here its the opposite. i walk around the west and wait for someone to invite me into their house to party as i walk by. people see me walking around thizzin hard, offer me a beer for the road if i dont feel like staying indoors at their party. its good times. but ive noticed as i get older less people try to start shit. i grew up with 90% of the cats i see all summer, so ive either been cool with them forever, or weve beefed for a minute, fought and squashed it. so no one is really an issue. there is the occasional cat that fronts like hes the toughest guy to ever walk the planet, just because he is from cali, and spokane has a low black percentage. that guy usually either gets stomped by ten people or gets a gun in his face, either way, it doesn't ever involve me, so i could care less

one thing I do like about Chico is the drinks at the bars are cheap as dirt

as soon as I found out the had Long Islands for $3 or $3.50 or whatever it was... it was a wrap

I blacked out at the bar... don't remember shit... good times though

If u take a social-psych class, it is a real and statistically proven phenomenon. It was something like, all things being equal, heat causes a significant amount of violence.

If you enjoy the scholastic findings, may I suggest checking out the difference between Van de Vliert who leans towards the cultural causes of higher temps and violence, compared to Simister and Cooper who lean towards physiological reasons.
