Lynch you suck! No, that was tight. I always wanted to be able to do a rap song with the Rock music kind of playing and not interfering with the rapping. I like how brief your verse was, and how the producer let the Rock music add to the mood of the story. The convo with the female (Zagg?) also made it deeper. Good stuff, out of the box thinking!

PS: Oh yea, I like the DVD. I wish there was a freestyle in there though. I would urge Siccmade to release a DVD with footage of its artists recording in the studio along with everyday life type of footage. You know, writing lyrics, dealing with artists, etc. It's really the best promo you can have for any future album out of Siccmade because we live in the "reality shows" age right now and Siccmade has such a strong artist-2-fan relationship. Also, hire Loki and I and pay us loads of money to take care of your marketing/advertising, haha just kidding.

i think the reason he put stairway to heaven in it is because commiting suicide is like walking up a stairway that leads to heaven. (even though my religion says you go to hell for it) also i think it just really set the mood for the song. i really like that kind of rock instrumental with rap music, it makes a good combination. i hate when rock just sounds like a bunch of noise though, but the one lynch uses is good.

I think it's from that Led Zeppelin song called stairways to heaven.
Yup. And Led Zep got plenty of classic Metal shit (their first five CDs are musts, if you're into their vibe). Funny thing, I didn't feel "Suicide Note" the first time I heard it, but after two or three more listens I think it's as dope as anything Lynch has done...

PEACE!

there's another led zeppilin song
we reference to on 21 GUN SALUTE.
it's been some led zeppelin listening
lately but this is a song done several
years ago by midian, a group phonk
beta formed w/ several homies that
never really got off the ground. (you
try getting 3 heads together to practice
enough to make a band work.) needless
to say it's one of my favorite beats to
ever come out of the siccmade camp.
'nuff said.
