Aye I'm new to this music stuff but I just but the motifssix for 2000 at guitarcenter for a xtra fivehundred u can get that..that's pretty good...but I got a quiestion what kinda softwear u usin cuz rite now all I got is cubase and I heard logic and reason is better...and what's up with this fl can I use that with logic and reasons and all dat I'm completly clueless on this stuff
If all you have is Cubase then you better stop doing music!

Stick with Cubase, and use it to SLAVE Reason. Reason makes a good Instrument.

Inasense: Maybe look into Rack Modules? Motif ES Rack, etc.

I got tha motif and cubase...as far as softwear go I only got cubas...what do u mean by it becomess a slave driver for reasons
You can sync Reason to Cubase like you would a module to a sequencer. Cubase being the sequencer and Reason being the module. Basically controlling the Reason modules and sounds through Cubase via the MIDI controller feature on your Motif. Anyone with more detailed info on that feel free to add; I'm not that deep into this, still learning myself.

I've played with a Motif 6 for a few hours and I like it, though most of the sounds have been over used and unless you know how to tweek them, your sounds are going to sound a lot like stuff you've heard before. And compared to the Triton, which I only played around with for a few minutes, I prefer the Motif. But there are more keyborads/modules out there.

great way to start off is with a sound module its cheaper and takes up no even a quarter of the space i would recormmend the Motif Es Rack or Phantom XR module i belive

they are aroudn the 800-1200 range depending on where u go
