The war in Sudan is predominatley about oil and Arabization of Africans. Sudan has a HUGE oil reserve in the Southern part of the country the "Arab" government is trying to secure these reserves that are with teh Black African population, because theirs a ton of multinational companies trying to get a piece of this oil.
This war is very complex, but the bottom line is oil and obtaining the oil by any means necessary. That includes completely exterminating the Black Africans.
Janjaweed are Nomadic Arabs who need land to survive. The land that these Nomadic Arabs are on is not arable like the Southern part of Sudan is, so they started complaining to the government about land and the Arab government told them "If you want the land go get it, we'll give you guns, take the land of the people for you to raise your cattle". All the government want is to secure the oil fields so they and these multinational companies could make a lot of money.
It's very sad, no one will do anything about it because everybody wants a piece of Sudan oil. Sudan oil is some of the finest in this world, this is oil that needs very little refinery.
It is really sad what is going on in Sudan, I don't think people have grasped what is taking place.
