Due to gas prices, I'm about to say fuck it and move into the 'jects'. Lots of places. Anyone want to help me out on some information regarding the process, how long shit takes, which spots are best to look at, so on and so forth?

Is it even as easy as calling the property manager and seeing if theres room? and its based on AMI and not credit, right? do you have to prove that someone is your spouse in any sort of way (since most are family units)
