Miguel Linares (Pictures) vs. Anthony Figueroa (Pictures)
Round 1
Linares opens with an inside leg kick. Both men tentative to start. They're starting to trade leg kicks now, and Linares lands a good one to Figueroa's leg. And another. His length is working for him. They lock up in the clinch and Linares gets popped with a right hand from the shorter Figueroa. He's stunned on his feet and Linares takes several more shots until he goes down. Figueroa connects with one more shot as Linares' mouthpiece goes flying and referee Marcos Rosales jumps in. The official time is 2:09 of the opening period.

Luke Stewart (Pictures) vs. Sam Liera (Pictures)
Round 1
Stewart misses a high kick, falls to the floor, rises to his feet and eats a straight right. He's fine and they clinch. Stewart takes Liera to the mat and works from half-guard. Liera sweeps and is now on top in half-guard. Stewart reverses now, and for the second time looks to pass. He takes mount and patiently tries to create space to strike. A flurry of downard punches endanger but don't hurt Liera. The second series however finds multiple punches connecting. Referee Cecil Peoples is watching closely. Stewart lands two hard rights. Liera is just covering. Nothing else. Finally, Peoples steps in, and calls it. Liera didn't take any serious damage, but his lack of response was enough to call it. The TKO comes at 3:40 of the first round.

Eddy Millis (Pictures) vs. Daniel McWilliams (Pictures)
Round 1
Millis moves in for a takedown and doesn't have an easy time with Team Garage's McWilliams, who angles for a guillotine choke while the pair stand. Millis falls back for guard and McWilliams works from half-guard. Millis reverses and now has McWilliams pressed against the cage. Millis falls back for a heelhook, but misses and McWilliams mounts. Millis exposes his back and McWilliams takes the choke. Millis taps. The time of the finish is 2:05 of round one.

Adam Smith (Pictures) vs. Dewey Cooper (Pictures)
Round 1
Inside leg kick by the K-1 veteran Cooper opens the fight. He's targeting the inside of Smith's leg and has landed several, including a partially blocked kick to the midsection. Nice lead left from the southpaw Cooper. At this point Smith is a moving target. He hasn't offered any offense. Smith took a kick that sounded like it connected to his groin. Marcus Rosales doesn't acknowledge the kick and Cooper threatens with a guillotine to close out the round. 10-9 Cooper.

Round 2
Smith leads with his head and takes a short left hand. Smith powers Cooper to the canvas and in the scramble goes to his back looking for a guillotine. Cooper has an arm inside and appears fine. He escapes and they return to the feet. Now some action from Smith, who muscles Cooper to the fence and lands punches to the body. Smith scores a takedown and gets the mount. His corner asks him to "ground-and-pound bro," and tells him "he can do it." They return to the feet thanks to Rosales, who stands both fighters. 10-9 Smith.

Round 3
Smith ducks under a right hook and they lock up in the clinch. Cooper lands a knee but gets put on his back. Cooper reverses nicely by pressing off the fence and standing. Cooper and two big lefts and Smith looks hurt. But Smith locks up and sends the pair to the canvas. Rosales doesn't like the pace and stands the fighters. Nice knee to the head by Cooper. But a sloppy single leg puts Cooper back-first on the canvas. Ten seconds remain and the pair are locked up on the floor. The fight ends and it will go to the judges. Cooper takes it 10-9 on the Sherdog card. Nelson Hamilton and Abe Belardo 29-28, Luis Cobian 29-27 - Cooper.

Richard Dalton (Pictures) vs. Daniel Puder (Pictures)
Round 1
Dalton rushes forward and pops Puder with a straight right before clinching with him against the fencing. Puder slaps on a guillotine and puts Dalton's back against the cage. Dalton slips out several minutes later and punches the body. Referee Peoples tells the fighters to pick up the action. With 90 seconds remaining in the frame, Puder again looks for a guillotine. Again Dalton rushes in and pushes Puder against the fence. A trip follows and Dalton takes the top position in Puder's guard. Peoples stands them up. Dalton, a former Marine, eats a hard punch before slipping to the canvas. Puder strikes from the side behind Dalton, controlling a wrist and a foot. Puder momentarily has Dalton's back with both hooks but the resilient fighter escapes to his feet. He shoots in for a takedown but gets hit with hard body shots for his effort. 10-9 for Puder.

Round 3
Puder lands a knee to the body before being pushed back against the cage. After reversing the position, Puder puts Dalton in a headlock and lands several knees to his head. Dalton answers and connects with Puder's chin with a right hand. Puder nods in approval and fires back, but Dalton goes back to the clinch. Dalton cracks Puder with another right hand. 10-9 for Puder. All three judges score it 30-27 for Daniel Puder.

Falaniko Vitale (Pictures) vs. Ron Fields (Pictures)
Round 1
Vitale strikes and clinches before dropping Fields to the mat with a double-leg takedown. The UFC veteran strikes from the top in half-guard. Vitales is all over the Ohioan with heavy right hands. Vitale moves to side-control and isolates Fields' arm, moving to the crucifix position. Elbows and punches connect before Fields taps due to the punishment. The time is 3:02 of the first.

Bill Mahood (Pictures) vs. Bobby Southworth (Pictures)
Round 1
Southowrth stuffs a takedown before executing a single-leg of his own. Southworth strikes the body from side-control and Mahood taps quickly for no apparent reason. Lee strikes with his hands and eats a counter left hand from Masvidal. A takedown follows from Masvidal. After Lee got to his feet, Masvidal put Lee down for the night with several standing right elbows, followed by right hands to the downed fighter. Peoples halts the contest at 1:33 of the first.

Clint Coronel (Pictures) vs. Billy Evangelista (Pictures)
Round 1
Coronel and Evangelista trade feeling out strikes from the outside with nothing connecting too solidly. Evangelista kicks at the legs and gets caught with a short punch that opens a small cut to the side of his right eye. The pace heats up but still nothing lands squarely. 10-9 for Evangelista.

Straight right lands for Coronel. And another as Evangelista rushes forward, throwing wild punches. Left hand from Coronel finds its target. Coronel pieces together a body head combo that sends Evangelista retreating. Evangelista gets in a hard kick to the legs and a right hand before the horn sounds. 10-9 for Coronel.

Round 3
Following a quick start to the round for Evangelista, Coronel jabs away and lands a body shot. Coronel sticks in the pocket and lands counter shots on his opponent. Body and head. Evangelista shoots in and scores the first takedown of the bout. Evangelista controls and strikes from the top. Coronel kicks out and gets to his feet before the horn sounds. Close fight. 10-9 for Evangelista. The judges see it 29-28 for Coronel and 29-28, 30-27 for the winner by split decision, Billy Evangelista.

Adam Lynn (Pictures) vs. Josh Thomson (Pictures)
Round 1
After 90 seconds of uneventful clinch work, Thomson trips Lynn to the floor with a powerful impact. Lynn gets back to his feet and trades knees and punches to the body. Lynn cracks Thomson on the cup with a knee. Thomson is given time to recover. Lynn rushes back in and pushes Thomson against the fencing. Thomson separates and drops Lynn with a right hand. He pounces and finishes with follow-up strikes. Replays show that Thomson was shooting for a takedown as he threw the straight right. The official time is 4:45 of the first.

Joe Riggs (Pictures) vs. Eugene Jackson (Pictures)
Round 1
Riggs opens up and cracks Jackson with a left hand before tripping him to the mat. Riggs quickly takes mount. Jackson gives up his back, and Riggs first looks for a rear-naked choke before going for an arm. The contest looked to be over, but the 41-year-old Jackson powered out and got to his feet, only to be taken back to the canvas. Riggs goes to the mount and tees off with hard right hands. Now in side-control, Riggs isolates an arm and strikes from the crucifix position. Jackson frees his arm but is punched out by the hard-hitting Riggs shortly after at the 3:56 mark. Impressive performance from Joe Riggs.

Gilbert Melendez (Pictures) vs. Tetsuji Kato (Pictures)
Round 1
Melendez shoots twice at the opening bell, but Kato has none of it. Right hand lands for Melendez before Kato stops another takedown. Kato lands a sharp one-two. Melendez sends Kato crashing to the canvas from two right hands. Melendez flows up with strikes but Kato is able to get full guard. A plethora of left handed hammer fists connect for Melendez. Excellent ground control from Melendez. He stands before the end of the round to deliver a right hand. 10-9 for Melendez.

Round 2
Melendez gets round two started with a straight right hand. Kato makes Melendez take a step backward with a hard left-hand counter. Melendez grips the fence to avoid a Kato takedown. Referee Doc Hamilton cleans blood from the right side of Kato's face and restarts the action in the center of the cage. Gil shakes his right hand as if it is injured. Closer action in round two. Kato landed the better leather and would have had a takedown save for Melendez grabbing the fencing. 10-9 for Kato.

Round 3
Melendez tastes a right hand before powering Kato to the floor. The PRIDE veteran punches the head from half-guard. Kato escapes to his feet. Kick to the body lands for Kato. Kato trips Melendez to the floor and almost took his back. Melendez stands and lands a knee to the chin. Stiff jab connects for Melendez. Two more left hands for Melendez in the final ten seconds. 10-9 for Melendez. All three judges see the bout 30-27 for Gilbert Melendez.
