LOL! Thank you for the feedback. The Goldtoes footage is old, but in the end, it's not what the film is about.
My main focus of the film is not to brag about making moves, show fights at shows, smoking weed etc. ..but rather give a real inside look at what it's like to be a underground rap artist. Yes, it's based in the 831, but the story is universal because it's happening everywhere around the world. It also shows artist not only struggling with music, but with life itself.
I'm talking to some County people out here in the 831 because they have gotten at me and are very interested in this project. It's something they didn't know was happening in our area. We'll see what comes of it.
As far as the beat goes? I didn't focus on it being a tight beat to rap over, but rather something that would compliment the energy of what's on screen. Could I of went with something different? Yes, but I'll never make everybody happy, so fuck it.

I truly appreciate the feedback & ORO, your right. I been at this for awhile now & it's not as easy as I thought when I first started, but I got this.
It's an actual film and that's what makes it so difficult to piece the story together. Just a few more touches though & I should be good.
As far as release, I'm pretty much waiting on the Monterey Bay Film Festival people to get back at me. Mid. 2011 to buy me some time and have a nice cushion. If all else fails, I'll press it up for a DVD release, but not without trying to get it to these film people first. In hopes of a bigger shot. Again, time will tell.
