IMO stores that still do consignment sales only do so if they know the artist(s) have a strong following. Reason being they don't wanna waste shelf space on products that don't move. (Not attacking your music in any way, just offering a possible "vendor perspective") Physical sales were still going down last time I checked..
Ways you could possibly get around that is to go out and build one on one relationships with potential vendors on a grass roots level. (Example: A lot of bay area rappers start/started off by hitting up the high traffic corner stores in their areas.)
Another thing you also might wanna consider is that people nowadays have a hard time purchasing music, even popular albums.....
Like my folks told me "Give them the music, sell them the t-shirt..."
