I dont know why you guys are so fuckin shocked that Tech got cut from MTV. He is not a known artist in mainstream so WTF would they choose to show his set over Mims?

The whole basis of that show is to have the biggest party ever and to get a huge artist to play at their show, Tech aint huge, Mims is MUCH more well known, so of course when the basis of the show is bigger and better they arent gonna showcase an underground artist over a much more well known one...

Could Tech of gotten more time on the show, of course, but its only a 30 min. show and the actual performance of the artist aint that big of a part of the show to begin with...

I love Tech til the fuckin end, but think in reality people, if you never knew who Tech was... Which most people who watch Sweet 16 dont and ur watchin the show and they are gettin ready to name the artist that is performing for her b-day and then announce Tech and you see him come on with 2 other dudes with his head painted FTI u would sit there and be like WTF is this?! First off is Tech N9ne a group? Why does he have his head painted? What does FTI mean?

Hate it if you want, but its true.

Just had to let u all know that... And if you really think callin MTV's lil hotline and complaining is gonna change anything your a fuckin idiot.

Get the fuck out of here. If you had any sense of what's going on you'd pull up the thread that actually had Hawke posting about not being on the show. I hope I'm not the only one that skips over your post completely to tell you to leave.

Of course, I would have loved to see Tech on the show, but since he was cut, it gives FTI even more meaning.
I'm also conflicted on whether I want him to be famous or not. Granted, he should be famous as he is the best rapper of all time (hands down!) But I've seen Tech live 4 different times, all in small (500 person) venues. If he blew up, I'd have to go to the Oakland Arena or some place like that to see him, and there would be no way that I could be 10 ft. from Tech while he's performing at a huge venue like that.
But seriously, fuck the industry!

Ok and this MIMS guy is more known that Tech? I'm sorry, I may be biased being from KC, but I've met a lot of people in Nv, Ca and Az that know who Tech is and I've NEVER heard anything about this MIMS guy.

But that's besides the point...

(1) go find the thread that KEEP_IT_KEEBLER posted recently titled tech needs your help.
(2) get the phone number located in that thread
(3) dial the two numbers in the order listed
(4) state your opinion using complete sentences and rational thoughts ( I know it may be hard )
(5) come back and post the details of your conversation

F.Y.I...... I know it's hard to believe but reality is what you make it. I bet you never put forth the effort to call but yet you know it won't matter. That's about as cool as pleading guilty before disclosure.

Ok see, he doesn't WANT tech to get on the show now, it's done and over with... He wants to set the laggers, i.e. the people that think tech will somehow magically get on the show, to fuck off

his first single was #1 for god knows how many weeks... plastered all over those stupid ringtone commercials and all

Yeah, well I've heard that song, but I still didn't know who he was...

And for the record... I listen to rock. I have always listened to rock, but I was introduced to Tech and some of you awesome fellas (haha) got me into some other rap, but radio, I listen to rock... Sorry. I'm not saying he sucks or anything, I'm just saying that I didn't know who he was. I know who Jay Z is. I know who Eminem is. I know who Snoop and Dre are... and I've always been a Pac fan... I like lyrical skills and that "Hot" song... it didn't catch my ear enough to even listen to the whole song...
