are u retarded ? speakin retarded talk!
we spent more to sell more in the past.. nowadayz we spend less and MAKE MORE.
We got money from smart investments...

Smart you ask? Controversy Sellz low overhead high return... cleared $12K profit from that one...

Central Valley Bad Boyzz cleared about $9K profit off that

Lethal Weaponz (paid dude $800 to present and do verses & songs) cleared about $25k from that

then another 3 combined for 15 K in profits....

nuttin we got rich off of... but the bills were paid and opportunities to lower our overhead surfaced.

not to mention a couple others... We made way more profit off these then Droop's albums .. how? low overhead

Droop's shit cost a lot to do .. why, you ask? hmm... production & studio time was a chunk... not to mention the money we spent on promotion... shit for KVMOI we printed 15,000 posters... 10,000 stickers... 150,000 flyers alone... it definitely helped him to become more known via our guerilla marketing techniques and grassroots campaigning.

may be a little too much for someone like you to swallow so digest this REAL TALK slowly.

I'll look at the books and see what it looks like. I'm more in the know about the more recent shit becuz we actually saw decent bread w/o having to recoup a shitload. I can tell you right now... his total acct with us is in the red. So that tells you where the profit is at. he cashed about $10K in checks... not to mention unmarked fringe benefits.
We've lost big on only one album... You guys can use your imagination on which one ... but the biggest profit margins came on albums where royalties weren't involved and we owned um. Such as Controversy Sellz, Lethal Weaponz, Central Valley Bad Boyzz etc... If you want to be considered a "businessman" then you better damn well know what a business is and how to handle it.

selling like droop?....well you mean selling the way Killa Valley / Doop sold?.......well he was a good seller, wut he sold lately?....but anyways.....remeber the lable sells the product, and boy have we had a good season of cds that made good money, the studio was bought off "Controversy Sellz", the van was bought off "Lethal weapons" not a droop album he on a couple tracks though just a good KVE investment......and the store was built off CVBB, so make you thoughst worth wild....and remeber to prmotoe droop we spent over $70,000........so we have a pretty good investment in that name, how did he put in?.....$0.00....well technicaly -$2,300.000 due to many returns, he was over paid........but anyways.....off 1990 hate i will estimate profit of only $6000, bootlegs esitmate $4500, MOI esitmate $20,000....he got around $12,750......his percantage he signed for was only 15% you see he got way more than his contract said he was to get.....sum ppl also dont think about the money he got from features, first off why do ppl want features?....1. they see the feature evey where magazine ads, interviews, flyers, posters, cds, radio......2. cuz they gota many sells from past albums out......ok who paid for all that to happen?....who paid for all the promotions?....who made all the past happen?.....off that he made a additional estiamte of $8,000-15,000 and still getting paid off whut we did, cuz on a "Real Talk" note whut has he done to build his vaule?

Thats hard to believe a label would turn down such a talented artist. Some real drama musta went down to sour the relationship...

Is it too bold to ask what went down and why he left the label in the first place?

basically he left when his contractual obligations to us were up... once he felt he was established enough to start doing it on his own or had other avenues to release his music I then started to hear the bullshit stories of him gettin ripped off and how he was gonna sue and bla bla bla .... We got our legit paperwork.. contracts, check stubs, receipts and stuff that has been notarized by a notary republic.

accusations of not gettin paid one penny from KVE is one of the main reasons why we'd be against doin any business with him again. Out in the streets playin the victim role and claiming he has a vendetta against us but when we see him it's nothing but "hey wassup fellas" We've put the whole shit behind us and moved forward but there's people that hear his side of things and provide sympathy for him believing that he never received a dime and that we bought mansions and time shares in the bahamas lol and while holding his "millions" in royalties hostage! lol

our contracts were simple and cut and dry... he got 15% of profits. profits only begin when recoup occurs. He didn't get any mechanicals or nuttin like that either. He got paid from us even when we weren't recouped.. just in good faith. Good faith payments kept his acct. in the red. So basically he owes us. But is he talkin bout writin us a check when his next album blows? hmmmm
