STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN BREAKS SYLVESTER STALLONE'S NECK
By Dave Scherer on 2010-01-05 10:54:17

The Daily Mail in the UK is reporting that during filming of a fight scene with Steve Austin for their new film The Expendables, the action was so realistic that it left Stallone with a hairline fracture in his neck. He needed to have emergency surgery and a metal plate was inserted in his neck following the scene.

Stallone was quoted as saying, "Actually, my fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin was so vicious that I ended up getting a hairline fracture in my neck. I'm not joking. I haven't told anyone this, but I had to have a very serious operation afterwards. I now have a metal plate in my neck."

The Wrestler's Mickey Rourke also appears in the movie.

not to sound like a broken record hanging on Jap wrestling...

Austins neck related stuff goes all the way back to an old school match in Japan with Chono. Austin did the same move to chono that Owen did to austin. The result was the same.

He did the same thing with Rocky3 wanting to use Larry Holmes for the part of Clubber Lang. In an interview Sly said Holmes hurt him so bad he went and got someone nice, MR.T.
YEA.. SLY IS KNOWN FOR REALISTIC FIGHT SCENES IN FILMS JUST LIKE DOLPH BROKE SLY'S RIBS IN ROCKY 4

Stallone has a history of that shit.

During the early '80s while preparing for the feature film Rocky III, Sylvester Stallone explored the possibility of using a real heavyweight boxer in the role of James "Clubber" Lang by inviting Earnie Shavers to spar with him. Shavers initially refused to hit Stallone with anything other than a soft jab. This frustrated Stallone, who asked Shavers, "C'mon Earnie, show me something real." Earnie responded by punching him once near the liver, forcing an immediate retirement; Stallone later said: "that nearly killed me. I went straight to the men's room and threw up."
