ok, i know there has to be someone that works for a cell phone company/store.

i have a cell phone here, it was given to me, its cracked and the LCD screen needs to be replaced, which is going to cost me $28. but the thing is, if i go to the store and get it activated can they know its a stolen phone?

yea but u wont get in trouble. If the phone has been reported as stolen, the ESN # will pop up when they try to activate it and say "reported lost/stolen"....Nothin u can get in trouble for tho

By LAW I was told that we can't take anything from you....Whether it pops up "lost/stolen" or not....I mean alot of people buy shit used or at a swap meet and don't know what the story is behind it so like I said u have nothing to worry about
